The role focuses on ensuring smooth transportation execution, providing proactive customer service, anticipating risks, and resolving operational issues in real time.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nMonitor daily transportation and shipment execution at the plant.\nCoordinate with customers, carriers, CSS, and internal teams.\nProactively identify and resolve operational issues and conflicts.\nManage appointments, truck arrivals, documentation, and plant requirements.\nProvide clear and timely visibility on shipment status, risks, and corrective actions.\nTake ownership of incidents through resolution and support continuous improvement.\nMaintain strong customer relationships and ensure high service levels.\nBasic Qualifications\nExperience in Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Operations.\nStrong communication and customer service skills.\nProactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable making decisions under pressure.\nStrong organizational and follow-up skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work effectively in a plant environment.\nSAP knowledge.\nStrong interpersonal and conflict-management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a customer-facing logistics or transportation role.\nExperience working in a manufacturing or automotive plant.\nExperience coordinating carriers or transportation providers.\nFamiliarity with TMS, load boards, or transportation tracking platforms.\nExperience with import/export logistics processes.\nStrong relationship-building skills and an extroverted, approachable personality.\nAbout Uber Freight \nUber Freight helps companies move goods more reliably and efficiently.
