Working closely with their stakeholders and senior leadership, they fully understand the levers that drive key performance metrics. They are expected to create operational efficiency within their team, drive adoption toward process improvement, and demonstrate strong management and team development capabilities. They are a visible leader with broad influence and relationships across the organization. \nThis person will manage a team consisting of operations coordinators and account managers in the US and MX. At this level, they are expected to drive team efficiency, improve account service and financial health, and regularly use data in internal and external stakeholder engagement. They should be comfortable presenting to customers, crafting account strategy, and driving team accountability.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do: \nEffectively translate business unit goals into an operational plan for their team. \nIdentify problems before they surface and solve key pain points for Uber Freight customers and the Uber Freight internal org. \nBuild and inspire a culture of high quality customer service across the Uber Freight organization. \nAllocate team resources appropriately to meet objectives. \nBuild a data-driven culture of continuous improvement, form relationships across the organization, and manage through conflict appropriately. \nInfluence the broader organization on the importance of customer obsession and defect reduction. \nSee and unlock new business opportunities with measured impact to company objectives \nSeek opportunities for account growth and reducing accessorial losses. \nBasic Qualifications \nBachelors degree and/or 4+ years of working experience \n2+ years of experience in the Freight industry, particularly in Intermodal \n1+ years of managerial experience \nPreferred Qualifications \nStrong organizational skills \nA bias for using data to make informed decisions \nExperience working with hybrid teams and stakeholders to accomplish business goals \nHistory of setting a vision for a team, especially through use of data \nTrusted advisor across their peer group\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
