In addition, our team provides tactical decision-making services that bridge the gap between strategic planning and operational execution. Our clients take advantage of our multi-level approach to realize benefits such as network optimization, improved utilization of private fleet operations, lowest-cost mode conversion, dedicated lane assignments, and overall cost reductions.\nThis position directly supports one of our key enterprise clients. The role administratively reports to Uber Freight leadership while managing daily workload and deliverables directly alongside the client's Customer Supply Chain (CSC) team.\nTarget Locations: Virginia, Rogers (AR), or Battle Creek (MI).\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nPerform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and address supply chain opportunities and challenges within the CPG domain.\nUtilize advanced reporting and modeling tools to evaluate and optimize transportation and distribution network strategies.\nConduct lane benchmarking by leveraging Uber Freight market intelligence, internal data, procurement insights, and external data sources.\nPartner directly with internal client teams while drawing on internal Uber Freight engineering and data analyst resources.\nBuild, maintain, and deliver ad-hoc and recurring reports (via Tableau, TMS, and internal client systems) to support key business initiatives.\nTravel Requirements\nOccasional travel to client locations or an Uber Freight hub up to 25%.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of analyst or engineering experience.\nProven experience in data analytics supporting a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company (via a 3PL or directly with a shipper).\nHands-on proficiency with Tableau and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with enterprise reporting systems and supply chain data modeling.\nBasic knowledge of optimization software and SQL.\nStrong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles, transportation strategies, and network design.\nAbility to model real-world distribution networks and translate complex datasets into actionable insights.\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
