The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, project management, and a proven track record of successfully delivering highly visible projects and programs. This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and closing of financial projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and meet high-quality standards. \nWhat the Candidate Will Do\nProject and Roadmap PlanningDevelop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements to support business priorities\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.\n\nDrive insight generation to inform roadmap plan, partnering cross functionally to identify opportunities Process Optimization and Data AnalysisAnalyze data to inform project planning and monitor progress of initiatives, and leverage metrics and reports to ensure projects align to business metrics\nDevelop dashboards, reports, and analyses to drive process improvements and automation for operations functions\nIdentify dependencies between cross functional partners and financial operations to improve processes, increase automation, and create governance for processes that affect financial metrics\n\nExecution and MonitoringLead project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.\nDevelop project success criteria and report on project progress and metrics, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues promptly.\nManage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively. Collaborate with functional users to document process changes and, if needed, train relevant users.\n\nFinancial ExpertiseApply in-depth knowledge of financial services to guide project teams and make informed decisions.\n\nUnderstand financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to project deliverables. Stakeholder Communication.Maintain transparent and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.\nProvide regular project updates, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.\n\nQuality AssuranceImplement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet industry standards.\nConduct thorough project reviews and assessments at key milestones.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\n3+ years of program management experience\nStrong understanding of process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies\nSQL proficiency and advanced Excel/data management skills\nAdvanced knowledge and experience with Tableau and/or Power BI\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in the freight, logistics, or financial services sector.\n3+ yrs experience building queries, reports, dashboards, and data analytics\nPMP Certification\nProcess Mapping, Kaizen, CI tools and methodologies\nJira, Smartsheet, or other Project Management Tools\nExperience implementing AI solutions and increasing automation\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
