In this role, you will bridge high-level workforce strategy with hands-on execution - managing a team of recruiters while partnering closely with department leaders to attract top-tier talent across our Operations business. You will optimize hiring pipelines, elevate the candidate experience, and build inclusive, data-driven strategies that drive company growth.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do \nLead & Mentorship: Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing talent acquisition team to reach their goals and excel in hiring best practices.\nStrategic Partnership: Collaborate with executives and cross-functional leaders to forecast headcount needs, set expectations, and align on hiring priorities.\nHiring Excellence & Operations: Drive standardization across recruitment workflows, ATS processes, and interview standards to ensure a fast, equitable, and top-tier candidate journey.\nData-Driven Strategy: Leverage recruiting analytics (Time-to-Hire, Offer Acceptance Rate, Funnel Conversion) to influence stakeholders, measure quality, and continuously improve hiring operations.\nBasic Qualifications \nBachelor’s Degree\nAt least 5 years of experience within recruiting\nAt least 3 years of people leadership experience\nProven track record of using data to drive recruitment strategy and influence business leaders\nExperience building, managing and hiring teams \nExperience working within a transportation/logistics company and knowledge of logistics operations departments\nPreferred Qualifications\nSuccessful Project Management abilities, delivering upon work streams within high-priority projects\nDemonstrated ability to use applicant tracking systems, HRIS and hiring platforms (i.e. Greenhouse, Oracle, LinkedIn Talent Insights). \nExpertise in attracting, leading, motivating and inspiring a team of recruiters\nExperience partnering and creating trust-based, value-added relationships globally\nAbility to solve problems and think creatively\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
