This position is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of customer shipments, maintaining daily communication, and building strong relationships with both customers and carriers.\nThis is a full-time, day shift position (Monday through Friday/5am to 2pm or 6am to 3pm) based out of our Uber Freight Center of Excellence in Rogers, AR. The role follows a hybrid work model, offering a flexible combination of remote and in-office work.\nWhat the Candidate Will Do\n\nUse Transportation Management System to process shipment entries and actively lead timely performance/automation objectives\nMaintain consistent and professional communications; effective, prompt and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations, relaying service failures, etc.\nExceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations\nSupervise shipments and revise when vital based on changing shipper, customer, and carrier needs\nUtilize external websites and other tools of communication to set shipment appointments\nUpdate load status in the system, e.g. loaded pick-up, delivery, empty, etc.\nSet up new Receivers, vendors, and supplier’s locations\nWork directly with Logistics Teams to assist with shipment issues or problem-solving\nAdditional Responsibilities Regarding Customer and Carrier Relationships\nCorrespond with customer and carrier regarding detention and other accessorial information\nSet up new customer and vendor users on the Transportation Management System\nAcquire solid understanding of customer business practices and workflow\nBasic Qualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\n1+ years of customer service experience /Or Transportation Experience\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nLTL (Less-Than-Truckload) experience\nKnowledge of the freight or transportation industry\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
