This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, verifying inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management, with a strong commitment to safety and accuracy.\n This is a full-time, on-site position located at our client facility (Eaton Inc.) in Charlotte, NC. Candidates should have flexible availability, as overtime and weekend shifts may be required.\nWhat the candidate will do\nInventory Control & Data Entry\nPerform inventory control activities including cycle counts, inventory research, adjustments, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.\nInvestigate and resolve inventory variances between physical inventory and system records.\nProcess and enter known,unknown or unidentified inbound freight into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).\nMaintain accurate inventory, shipment, and receiving records to support operational and customer requirements.\nPrint labels and apply labels for inbound and outbound packages. \nExcel/Google sheet data entry. \nAssist with Site 5S projects. \nDeliver parcel and LTL products to inbound and outbound lanes as needed. \nManage International IB and OB freight \nQuality Assurance & Compliance\nPerform inbound and outbound quality checks to ensure shipment accuracy, proper labeling, documentation compliance, and adherence to customer requirements.\nConduct routine audits of inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse transactions to maintain data integrity and operational accuracy.\nIdentify, document, and investigate Overages, Shortages, and Damages (OS&D), ensuring issues are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.\nTake ownership of quality processes by identifying, reporting, and helping resolve inventory, shipment, freight, and documentation discrepancies.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending corrective actions to improve quality and inventory accuracy.\nManage and support unknown freight.\nReceive and process parcel inbound inventory. \nCommunicate with stakeholders and vendors via email and phone.\nWork Environment\nSafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) as required (certification may be required).\nAssist with locating, moving, staging, and verifying freight throughout the warehouse.\nSplit time between office-based administrative duties and warehouse floor operations.\nWork in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.\nRegularly walk, stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the warehouse to support operational needs.\nRegularly lift, move, and stack boxes ranging from 1lb to 15lb to support daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations. \nBasic Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n1-2 years of data entry and inventory quality management experience in a warehouse setting.\nExperience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or similar inventory/logistics software.\nIntermediate proficiency in tools like Google sheets/Docs or Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment\nBenefits & Compensation for U.S. Employees\nEmployees working more than 30 hours in the US at Uber Freight are eligible for benefits like a company sponsored health plan, dental and vision benefits, 401k match, financial and mental wellness benefits, parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance and more.
