Drive policy changes that support Uber’s growth and deliver better outcomes for earners, customers and communities.\nShape Uber’s policy positions on key legislative issues across mobility and delivery.\nRepresent Uber with governments, regulators and industry groups. Participate in government consultations, inquiries and regulatory processes, and shape Uber’s position in them.\nAdvise senior leaders on political and regulatory issues that could affect the business.\nWork closely with Legal, Communications, Marketing and Operations to align policy work with business priorities. Spot emerging policy risks and opportunities and help the business respond early.\nWhat you'll need\n7+ years of experience in public policy, politics or government affairs. We will also consider candidates from related backgrounds, including legal or public affairs roles with strong policy exposure.\nDemonstrated ability to lead multiple policy initiatives at once with sound judgement, creativity and a strong focus on outcomes.\nExceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust across diverse internal and external groups.\nValues-aligned traits including strong judgement, resilience, curiosity and the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.\nStrong storytelling and presentation skills.
