The ideal candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders to drive system improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless payroll operations while supporting quarterly releases and continuous enhancements.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn end-to-end Oracle HCM Payroll functionality, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization\nTroubleshoot and resolve Payroll, Time, and Absence issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations\nPartner with business teams (HR, Payroll, Operations) to gather requirements and deliver enhancements\nLead and support testing efforts during quarterly releases, including UAT validation and production readiness\nDrive continuous improvements in Payroll processes, automation, and system efficiency\nBasic Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll\nStrong expertise in Payroll configuration (elements, fast formulas, balances, payroll flows)\nExperience troubleshooting complex Payroll-related issues and performing root cause analysis\nWorking knowledge of Time & Labor and Absence modules\nExperience supporting UAT and Oracle quarterly release testing\nAbility to partner with business stakeholders and translate requirements into system solutions\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience owning Payroll as a product or platform with strong operational and systems ownership capabilities\nStrong understanding of end-to-end HCM integrations and upstream/downstream impacts\nExperience in high-volume or complex payroll environments\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n~~ ~~ For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $138,000 per year - USD $153,000 per year.\nFor New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $153,000 per year - USD $170,000 per year.\nFor San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $153,000 per year - USD $170,000 per year.\nFor Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $153,000 per year - USD $170,000 per year.\nFor Washington, DC-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $153,000 per year - USD $170,000 per year.\nFor all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
