Product Manager - Uber Logistics

About the Role

As a Product Manager for Uber Logistics, you will be at the forefront of Uber’s evolution from an on-demand delivery app to a global logistics powerhouse. As one of the first Product Managers on the team, you'll play a foundational role in defining our product strategy, shaping the roadmap, and bringing new experiences to market. This is a true 0-to-1 opportunity where you'll work across product, engineering, design, operations, sales, and go-to-market teams to solve complex logistics challenges for shippers.

We're looking for someone who is excited by ambiguity, enjoys building from first principles, and thrives in fast-paced environments where they can have outsized impact. You'll help define not only what we build, but how the team operates as we establish the foundation for a new business.

What You'll Do

• Own the experiences that help shippers onboard, quote, book, manage, and track shipments across the Uber Logistics network.
• Build the tools customers use to manage transportation operations, including shipment planning, exceptions, visibility, and reporting.
• Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand their logistics workflows and translate those insights into scalable product solutions.
• Drive integrations to reduce manual work and create seamless logistics experiences.
• Define the roadmap for the shipper platform, balancing customer needs, operational efficiency, and business growth.
• Establish the success metrics for your products and use experimentation and data to improve adoption, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver products that create measurable business impact.
• Operate as a founding product leader, helping shape the product vision, development practices, and culture of the Uber Logistics team.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of product experience delivering successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them
• Macro-Vision, Micro-Execution. You are a master of both the "why" and the "how." You can architect a long-term logistics strategy and then immediately roll up your sleeves to understand delivery reliability issues that are impacting our customers today.
• Attention to detail. The ability to obsess over every single part of the delivery process, anywhere in the world
• Customer obsession. The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions, so they don’t become our users problems
• Finger-tippiness with data. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to demonstrate this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
• A “Driver” mindset. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
• Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on
• A true passion for Uber's mission and our products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building products from 0-1
• Strong marketplace or logistics experience
• Strong analytical and experimentation background
• Owning and leading strategy for a line of business

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $161,000 per year - USD $179,000 per year.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
