The Sr. Manager, Internal Communications will lead employee and executive communications and work with Uber executives to shape a unified voice and communicate the tech/engineering strategy to Uber employees across the company.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild relationships with engineering executives and their leadership teams to partner on their communications to their teams and the rest of Uber.\nWork with Uber executives to shape and communicate the tech/engineering strategy to employees across the company.\nDistill complex topics into compelling messages, build and manage creative campaigns, and design crisp presentations and written content.\nPartner with Tech and Engineering program managers to develop and implement internal communication campaigns targeted to Uber employees.\nBuild and organize internal comms systems and processes to keep program managers aligned on communication priorities and work with them to craft a cohesive messaging strategy for their programs. \nBasic Qualifications\n10+ years of communications experience \nExperience in managing complex global internal communication programs in a fast-paced, changing environment.\nProven ability to manage and translate complex business issues into compelling and clear messages.\nStrong stakeholder management skills: proven ability to persuade, influence and respond to senior leaders and stakeholders; you are a confident and fact-based advisor to senior management who can balance multiple strategic directions and priorities. \nHigh-quality copywriting, speech writing, presentation planning and delivery skills. \nDrive communication activities to support transformation, change management and culture initiatives.\nExcellent interpersonal skills: nonverbal and verbal, informing, presenting, engaging, convincing, aligning, advising senior executives.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in PR/communications ideally in a technology company.\nCommunications experience at a publicly-traded company.\n For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.\nYou will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
