Michelangelo provides industry-leading tools and capabilities that empower Uber’s developers to seamlessly build, evaluate, deploy, trace, and manage AI agents.\nAs AI needs continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking an experienced and passionate AI Product Manager with strong technical depth, sharp product intuition, and an entrepreneurial mindset to own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for critical components of Michelangelo’s agent platform, shaping how AI agents are built, evaluated, governed, and scaled across Uber.\nWhat you will do\nWork closely with Uber’s ML engineers, applied scientists, data scientists, software engineers, and other cross-functional builders to deeply understand Uber’s AI use cases, identify user pain points and opportunities, and gather product requirements.\nSet qualitative objectives and quantitative goals, define product requirements, and drive execution with the AI Platform Engineering, TPM, and UX design teams.\nInternal and external stakeholder management, and make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights.\nMonitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process to drive growth.\nDrive platform adoption and enablement across technical and non-technical users, ensuring Michelangelo lowers the barrier to building and scaling AI applications.\nClearly communicate product plans, progress, and results to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to customer teams, Uber executives, and external ML communities.\nBasic qualifications\n5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful AI/ML products. Experience launching Gen AI applications or agentic systems, from initial conception to launch, is highly preferred.\nStrong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.\nA computer science, data science, or other engineering degree equivalent.\nThrive in cross-functional environments and work backward from the needs of your customers to create solutions that scale.\nHigh attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nPreferred qualifications\nStrong technical background in the AI/ML space. Deep understanding of one or more of the following fields: Agent evaluation and observation, Agent runtime and execution, Agent orchestration, memory and context management, Agent governance and security, or foundation model pretraining, eval, and post-training \nExperience launching enterprise-grade agentic applications \nExperience building large-scale AI/ML/Data infra or platform products.\nExperience working with ML/Data platforms such as AWS Sagemaker and Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI and Gemini enterprise, and Databricks, and AI model providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic.\nExperience driving platform adoption across large, complex organizations.\n For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.\nFor Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.\nFor all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
