You will also have the opportunity to take these capabilities into the hands of millions of Riders, Eaters, and Earners through new product experiences.\nThis is a highly technical product role with broad scope, global scale, and direct customer impact.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDefine product strategy for how Uber understands location, movement, and activity in the real world.\nWork closely with engineers and scientists to build and improve ML and sensor-based systems.\nTurn new technical capabilities into products that improve the experience and safety of Riders and Earners.\nLead cross-functional initiatives across Maps, Mobility, Delivery, Safety, Risk, Pricing, and Autonomous.\nUse data and experimentation to determine what to build and measure the impact of what you ship.\nScale products globally across different markets, devices, and operating environments.\nBasic Qualifications:\n5+ years of product management experience shipping products with measurable impact.\nExperience working closely with Engineering and ML/Data Science teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience building technically complex products at consumer or marketplace scale.\nStrong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with machine learning, geospatial systems, mobile, sensors, or real-time systems.\nExperience building ML-powered consumer products.\nExperience with platform products serving multiple teams or use cases.\nExperience in mobility, logistics, autonomous systems, safety, fraud, or related fields.\nFor San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.\nFor Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $190,000 per year - USD $211,000 per year.\nFor all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
