As a Senior Software Engineer (Data & Backend), you will architect mission-critical systems that power the foundation of trust across our global marketplace - from ensuring millions of earners are paid accurately and on time to scaling the simulation platforms that drive billions in pricing decisions. Rate of Pay: $202,000 to $246,000 per Year

What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and test software applications.
- Design, develop, and/or test software applications using company technology stack.
- Apply technical knowledge to evaluate complex data, developments, and projects in order to provide recommendations to resolve technical issues.
- Support the company's business operations and improve engineering productivity.
- Build software components that can be integrated into a fully functional software system.
- Solve production issues in product and system reliability.
- May telecommute.
Basic Qualifications
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Position requires:
- C++, Java, Scala, Go, or Python;
- Backend experience with data engineering, data pipelines, big data systems, data science, SQL, and analytics;
- Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
- Designing technology stacks;
- Debugging, monitoring and optimization for production services;
- Distributed systems;
- Software Development Lifecycle;
- Relational database: MySQL or PostgreSQL.
