At Ubiquiti, you’ll heighten your potential and broaden your horizons - all while shaping the future of connectivity.\nWe’re looking for a Senior AI/Computer Vision Engineer to build AI systems end to end, from defining the problem and data requirements to training models, validating them, deploying on edge devices, and integrating them into C++ pipelines.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can take applied AI projects from concept to production and is comfortable working across modeling, evaluation, deployment, and system integration.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn AI and computer vision projects end to end, from technical definition to production deployment;\nTranslate product needs into system, data, model, and evaluation requirements;\nDefine data collection, annotation, and validation strategies;\nTrain and optimize deep learning models for real-world vision and multimodal applications;\nBuild testing, benchmarking, and failure analysis workflows;\nOptimize models for edge devices with attention to latency, memory, throughput, and accuracy tradeoffs;\nIntegrate models into production inference systems, including C++ edge pipelines;\nWork closely with software and product teams to ship reliable AI features at scale.\nRequirements:\nMS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;\nStrong Python skills;\nSolid experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks;\n4+ years of experience building and shipping computer vision and/or applied AI systems;\nHands-on experience with tasks such as detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, embeddings, or multimodal perception;\nExperience beyond model training, including evaluation, deployment, and production support;\nExperience optimizing models for edge or embedded environments;\nStrong software engineering skills, including C++ production pipelines or inference systems;\nFluent in English and Latvian.\nNice to have:\nExperience with LLMs or multimodal models in production;\nExperience with ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, or TFLite;\nExperience with MLOps and experiment tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or DVC;\nFamiliarity with model monitoring and post-deployment analysis.\nBenefits: \nInternational work environment and work with global development teams;\nAbility to deliver software that is used by millions of people across the globe;\nOpportunity to leverage and integrate modern AI tools into product development;\nAccess to all Ubiquiti products;\nMedical insurance;\nHybrid approach -
