At Ubiquiti, you’ll heighten your potential and broaden your horizons - all while shaping the future of connectivity.\nResponsibilities:\nDaily tasks managing and administering AWS services including, ECS, IAM, RDS, Lambda and API Gateway;\nIdentify and implement tools to improve existing environments (CI/CD, monitoring, logging);\nWrite Terraform code to automate the deployment of infrastructure and services as needed;\nInteract with fellow engineers assisting to deploy and support applications through the development lifecycle;\nTrain and mentor fellow engineers in best practices utilizing DevOps practices;\nParticipate in production application support and on-call support;\nManage a queue of backlog activities with varying degrees of priorities.\nRequirements:\n4+ years of experience architecting and deploying AWS infrastructure;\nAbility to write modular Terraform code for creation of AWS infrastructure;\nUnderstanding of core DevOps and CI principles;\nExperience with CI software (e.g Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for deployment automation;\nAbility to code in Python or NodeJS or Bash for task automation;\nAbility to triage on incident response teams;\nKnowledge of security best practices around networking and applications;\nUnderstanding about Docker container management and deployments;\nCustomer Service skills with a focus on supporting engineering teams;\nFluent in English and Latvian.\nNice to have:\nKnowledge and experience utilizing AWS CI services (CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodePipeline);\nKnowledge and experience deploying and managing distributed services;\nWorking knowledge of Atlassian Cloud Jira issue tracking and Confluence team workspaces;\nExperience managing Pagerduty escalations and alarms;\nExperience creating and maintaining documentation;\nExperience working with distributed teams;\nExperience working with and deploying Node.js applications;\nExperience with configuration management tools, like Ansible;\nExperience with integrating various services, e.g. Slack, Mandrill, Logging services;\nExperience with Linux administration, cloud administration, network administration.\nBenefits:\nInternational work environment and work with global development teams;\nAbility to deliver software that is used by millions of people across the globe;\nOpportunity to leverage and integrate modern AI tools into product development;\nAccess to all Ubiquiti products;\nMedical insurance;\nHybrid approach -
