Your primary focus will be on architecture, extensibility, and maintainability, as well as on test design and investigation of test results and issues. You will work closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams to design and implement new capabilities, improve performance and reliability, and ensure the framework scales with our growing needs.\nThe role involves working in an environment tied to networking products and systems, requiring an understanding of how software interacts with network devices and services.\nWe are looking for a proactive, hands-on engineer with deep Python expertise, experience with large-scale or long-lived projects. A strong architectural mindset is a great bonus and will be highly appreciated.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain a Python-based automated testing framework\nContribute to the migration of an existing testing framework to Python while ensuring feature parity\nDesign and Investigate network-area related test scenarios \nPerform in-depth analysis of cutting-edge network protocols\nImplement and improve framework features used by QA and development teams\nCollaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and software engineers to align testing strategy\nReview code and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions\nRequired Qualifications:\nProven experience with Python \nSolid understanding of software architecture, modular design, and clean code principles\nProven experience in software testing or strong knowledge of computer networking\nFamiliarity with networking, embedded systems, or hardware-related testing\nComfortable working in a cross-functional environment (QA, DevOps, Development)\nProactive, self-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills\nSolid knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting\nNice to Have:\nExperience with test automation frameworks (custom or open-source)\nExperience with Jenkins, including the ability to build and improve CI systems\nKnowledge of virtualization technologies
