For over 30 years, the Hybride team has been reinventing the visual effects industry, one project at a time.\n What you will do\nWork closely with the VFX Supervisor, producers, artists, and other relevant departments to create high-quality visual effects;\n\nProvide clear guidance to all CG departments, set specific goals, and monitor processes, progress, and results;\n\nClearly communicate R&D and pipeline requirements to developers;\n\nDetermine, adjust, and maintain the most effective and efficient technical approach and workflow possible;\n\nIn collaboration with CG department management, participate in the design and implementation of the technical and artistic pipeline, as well as the development of the production flow, while ensuring that the tools used fully meet the needs of the project;\n\nCoach Technical Directors (TDs) in solving day-to-day problems and anticipate potential pipeline tool issues before they affect production;\n\nEnsure deadlines are met and that each department performs the required quality checks;\n\nAssist in debugging or optimizing scenes as needed.\n\n Minimum of 5 years of experience as a supervisor in the field of VFX, film, or television, with the ability to ensure a high level of artistic and technical quality;\n\nExcellent organizational, communication, and project management skills;\n\nStrong CG skills, including a good understanding of modeling, texturing, look development, rigging, and animation;\n\nProven experience with complex creatures, from modeling to final rendering, and in-depth knowledge of assets;\n\nIn-depth understanding of the technical and creative aspects of 3D animation production;\n\nComplete mastery of all stages of 3D production and good understanding of the 2D pipeline;\n\nProven team leadership, strong motivational skills, and willingness to share knowledge;\n\nExperience in team management and task assignment;\n\nAbility to work under tight deadlines;\n\nPositive attitude and team spirit;\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail;\n\nVery good proficiency with Houdini and Maya;\n\nGood proficiency with Arnold (an asset);\n\nKnowledge of Python (an asset).\n\n Our passion for innovation and our team’s creativity are recognized throughout the industry and remain the cornerstone of our work philosophy.
