You will also resolve complex issues raised by our partners and support other administrators.\nWhat you’ll do\nInstall and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers\nDeploy and maintain private network links and dedicated peering connections\nAssess new requirements and technical designs, and help define standards, guidelines and metrics\nIncrease the use of automation to improve consistency and efficiency\nMonitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services, including complex issues raised by partners\nApply network security policies and procedures\nManage network capacity, improve performance and contribute to expansion plans for networks and systems\nMaintain network hardware and software documentation\nRespond to user inquiries and service requests\nMentor newer administrators and serve as a technical resource for the team\n What you bring to the team\nExtensive experience in network administration\nExpertise in routing, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)\nExpertise in switching, including virtual local area networks (VLANs), Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP), and Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols\nAbility to develop approaches to complex, unfamiliar network problems\nKnowledge of Linux and cloud networking in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure, an asset\nExperience with Python, Ansible and automation pipelines, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), an asset\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to people at all levels of management\n Sound judgment and critical thinking, with a commitment to flagging governance or priority concerns and handling information with integrity and
