If so, read on!\n Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist to help our team on their next adventure.\nYou will support insight initiatives for our Data and Analytics team across the modern data stack (Redshift, dbt, Power BI, GitLab) to turn raw data into decisions, and will be reporting to our Director of Data & Analytics.\n*Please note that a work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying for the position is mandatory.*\nYour daily adventure:\nTurning data into actionable insights, by performing hands-on research, data exploration and analysis, to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention, and monetization.\n\nWork with the game teams to provide insights into user behaviour, answer key business questions and support A/B test design and analysis.\n\nBuild and maintain reliable, well-documented data models and pipelines that the wider organization can trust and self-serve from.\n\nCarry out projects in machine learning for behavioural segmentation and monetization.\n\nDesign, build and maintain clear, actionable Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders across the studio.\n\nDebug and problem-solve issues to ensure the delivery of accurate and clear analysis, reports, and tools - versioning your work in GitLab following good CI/CD practices.\n\nEffectively communicate results and insights to senior stakeholders throughout the organization.\n\nCoordinate, challenge and share the best analytical practices and methods within the organization.\n\nExplore and prototype applications of AI and Generative AI (LLMs, AI agents, copilots) to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and uncover new player insights.\n\nStay up to date with the latest developments in Machine Learning, Data Science, and AI/GenAI trends.\n\nContribute to the knowledge base and culture of the team.\n\n YOUR SKILLS\nMaster's degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science...). PhD in any of these disciplines is a plus.\n\n5+ years of relevant work experience in similar positions, ideally in the mobile gaming industry.\n\nHighly proficient in SQL as well as Python for data exploration and analysis.\n\nHands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses, ideally Amazon Redshift, and data transformation tools such as dbt.\n\nSolid experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI (or similar BI tools).\n\nComfortable working with version control (Git/GitLab) as part of the daily analytics workflow.\n\nRobust understanding of advanced statistics suitable for the analysis of skewed populations.\n\nExperience designing effective ways of communicating, visualising and reporting results/analysis.\n\nExperience in predictive analytics and segmentation.\n\nExcellent problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.\n\nNice to Have:\nHands-on experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up analysis, coding, or documentation.\n\nExposure to applying Generative AI / LLMs to analytics use cases (e.g. natural-language querying, automated insight generation, player-facing chat experiences).\n\nExperience with Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, XP) and project management tools (e.g. JIRA).\n\nSoftware engineering best practices beyond Git, such as CI/CD pipelines and code review.\n\nSelf-motivation, organizational skills, team spirit, proactivity.\n\nPassion for games.
