track work in JIRA.\n\nCollaborate with application, platform, QA, security, and business stakeholders to align software architecture with business goals and platform standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities During Knowledge Transfer\nBuild a clear understanding of the Tariffication application's business rules, pricing and fee logic, integrations, data model, deployment model, and operational dependencies.\n\nCapture undocumented knowledge, known limitations, recurring incidents, support procedures, and critical troubleshooting steps.\n\nReview existing source code, architecture documentation, database objects, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and release processes.\n\nEstablish and maintain practical runbooks for incident response, deployment, rollback, batch or interface failures, and common production issues.\n\nIdentify technical debt, operational risks, security gaps, and opportunities to improve maintainability and resilience.\n\nBecome a dependable point of contact for the Account & Fees team and related support teams after the transition.\n\nKey Qualifications\n7-15 years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record supporting production systems.\n\nStrong backend development experience with Java 8 or later; Java 17 or the latest LTS is the target for all applications.\n\nHands-on experience with Spring 4/5 and Spring Boot 2.x/3.x.\n\nExperience designing and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs, HTTP layers, and OpenAPI specifications.\n\nExposure to Vue.js or Angular for operational and administrative user interfaces.\n\nExperience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including JPA/Hibernate, SQL, database performance fundamentals, Liquibase, and beginner-level PL/SQL.\n\nPractical CI/CD and DevOps experience with Git, Maven, YAML-based pipelines, and test automation integration.\n\nKnowledge of Kerberos and OAuth2/OIDC, together with secure coding and AppSec practices covering SQL injection, XSS, RCE, input validation, and secrets management.\n\nExperience with JUnit 5, Mockito, and Cucumber for BDD/ATDD; Jest experience for front-end unit testing.\n\nAbility to understand software architecture and document it clearly.\n\nFluent English; French is useful.\n\nOrganized, reliable in production support, and able to communicate clearly across teams.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with rule engines or BPMN tools, such as Drools; beginner level is acceptable.\n\nNode.js experience for tooling or auxiliary services.\n\nEnd-to-end testing experience with Cypress, Protractor, Selenium WebDriver, or Playwright.\n\nAPI or load-testing experience with JMeter;
