We keep the daily motivation high through social events and a down-to-earth tone with lots of humor and an inclusive atmosphere.\n\nThe IT Department\n\nYou will join our IT department of 22 colleagues. The department is responsible for developing new products and components and maintaining existing integrations between carriers and customers. Projects and solutions you will work on include:\n\nDevelopment and implementation of a new enterprise platform in microservice architecture\n\nDevelopment of carrier and transportation integrations\n\nTrack and trace and event management\n\nOur solutions are developed with an object-oriented approach, utilizing software design patterns when relevant. We aim to deliver the best solutions for our customers while enjoying an informal culture. We use Scrum methodologies and apply test-driven and domain-driven development with API-first approaches.\n\nKey Technologies\n\nOur technology stack includes:\n\nLanguages & Frameworks: Java 17+21, Spring Boot, NodeJS, TypeScript, Angular CLI\n\nData & Messaging: Confluent Kafka, Spring Data, MongoDB, Elasticsearch\n\nInfrastructure: Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Terraform, Helm, Azure, Maven, BitBucket + Pipelines, Grafana\n\nThe position\n\nYour main task will be to develop and maintain state-of-the-art applications, creating a solid and smooth foundation for operations. You will work with Microsoft Azure as our infrastructure platform. You will be given significant responsibility and the opportunity to implement your ideas in a team-oriented environment.\n\nDaily Tasks\n\nBuilding new features into our native cloud microservices Java platform\n\nConducting thorough code reviews (e.g., pull-requests) and working closely with QA\n\nIntegrating with partners to produce the best possible integrations\n\nDefining and implementing automated testing to support our CI & CD\n\nDefining architectural solutions and improvements for the services you work on\n\nIdentifying and defining viable improvements to our way of working\n\nDesigning solutions with IT colleagues and business counterparts\n\nSharing knowledge and experiences with your team members and colleagues\n\nQualifications\n\nMore than 4 years of experience in Java (primary programming language)\n\nWriting maintainable (clean, readable, reusable and well documented) code\n\nExtensive knowledge of software design patterns and principles\n\nFamiliarity with relational and document databases.
