This role ensures that UCAM’s long-term strategic goals (Revenue Growth, Lead Time Reduction, and Profitability) are translated into daily operational excellence on the factory floor using best practices.\nRequirements\nOperational KPI Governance & RCA\nMonitor daily and weekly factory KPIs: like OEE, Lead time, OTD, Downtime etc and maintain KPI scorecard\n\nConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on KPI deviations using Six Sigma tools like Fishbone Diagrams and the 5-Why technique.\n\nEnsure data integrity between the physical shop floor and digital dashboards (SAP/AppSheet).\n\n Process Re-engineering (BPR): Analyze existing manufacturing and supply chain workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies. Design and implement \"to-be\" processes that improve throughput and reduce cycle time.\nSAP Optimization: Leverage deep knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning) and MM (Material Management) to configure, test, and optimize system usage for manufacturing operations.\n Process Mapping & Documentation: Translate complex cross-functional requirements into clear, visual process maps (using tools like BPMN, Visio, or similar) to ensure organizational alignment.\nRequirement Elicitation: Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observation sessions with shop-floor managers and production leads to document granular business requirements.\nChange Management: Act as a change agent by developing communication and training plans to ensure smooth adoption of new processes across the manufacturing unit.\n Data-Driven Insights: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency and SAP system utilization to measure the success of re-engineering initiatives.\nProject & Initiative Management\nAct as the local Project Coordinator for strategic initiatives (e.g., Lean Implementation, New Product assembly lines, Digitalization of Data etc).\n\nMaintain Project Charters and Gantt Charts for factory-side improvements to ensure milestones are met without \"prodding.\"\n\nManage dependencies between departments (Production, Quality, Stores, Supply chain) to prevent project delays.\n\nFacilitate CFT meetings on process improvements, bottleneck identifications and project planning.\n\nStrategic Liaison & Reporting\nConduct \"Gemba Walks\" to observe real-time execution gaps and report them to the reporting manager.\n\nTranslate top-level strategy into shop-floor \"Action Boards\" (SQCDP) that operators can understand and follow.\n\nTechnical Skills & Competencies Required\nPPC Foundations: Strong understanding of Work Orders, BOM, and Production Scheduling.\n\nSix Sigma: Basic knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt level). Ability to use Pareto Charts and Control Charts.\n\nProject Management: Familiarity with MS Project, Trello, or structured Excel Gantt charts.
