:Mechanical Engineering\n\nWork Experience :4-6 Years\n\nPreferred Industry :Gear Cutting Machine tool industry\n\nMain/ Essential Task\n\nCustomer &Technical Support\n\nSupport pre-sales activities through feasibility studies, technical discussions, \ncycle time analysis, and customer presentations.\n\nSupport machine trials, commissioning, customer training, and process \ntroubleshooting activities.\n\nApplication & Process Development\n\nDevelop and optimise gear manufacturing processes for customer applications. \n\nConduct component prove-outs, tooling trials, and process validation activities. \n\nSupport application development for CNC gear hobbing and related gear cutting \nprocesses.\n\nTechnical Coordination &Documentation\n\nStudy customer requirements, engineering drawings, and manufacturing \nprocesses to recommend suitable machining solutions.\n\nPrepare technical documents such as offers, cycle time studies, process sheets, \nand application reports.\n\nCoordinate with sales, design, service teams, tooling suppliers, and customers \nduring application development and project execution.\n\nCompetencies Required\n\nStrong understanding of gear manufacturing processes, gear cutting\n\nmethodologies, tooling applications, machine setup, and process optimisation\n\nfor various gear components.\n\nUnderstanding of CNC gear cutting machines, machine setup, process \nparameters, and CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens preferred).\n\nAbility to study engineering drawings, customer requirements, and \nmanufacturing processes for application development.\n\nKnowledge of tooling selection, process optimisation, troubleshooting, and \ncycle time improvement.\n\nFamiliarity with gear metrology, inspection methods, and interpretation of \nmeasurement reports.\n\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills with \nwillingness to travel for customer support activities.\n\nRequirements\nSkills
