This position will be based out of our offices in Raleigh, NC.\nAbout the role\nYou will manage assigned projects end-to-end within a development program, ensuring alignment with overall program objectives, timelines and budgets. Your scope may cover an indication or a significant cross-functional area, with particular partnership across regulatory authorities and patient communities. You will connect project planning, performance, execution and completion while maintaining transparent, objective decision-making and delivering value for patients and stakeholders.\nWho you'll work with\nYou will report to the Head of Integrated Planning & Performance and work closely with the Asset Program Lead, Asset Team, Regulatory Authorities and Patient Community sub-teams and their Community Heads. You will partner across global, multicultural functions to maintain clear communication, strengthen team dynamics, share project-management best practices and support timely decisions across complex development programs.\nWhat you'll do\nTranslate operational roadmaps into integrated project plans covering scope, schedules, costs and risks.\nDrive scenario planning, impact assessment and executive governance materials supporting timely decisions.\nManage critical paths, resources and deliverables, removing barriers to effective project execution.\nProactively manage risks, issues, performance and transparent project status with program leadership.\nLead cross-functional collaboration, meeting facilitation, team health, onboarding and knowledge sharing.\nEmbed project-management best practices and agile ways of working across assigned projects.\nInterested? For this role we're looking for the following\nMinimum requirements\nBachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.\n3+ years of hands-on project management experience in pharmaceutical research and development or biotechnology.\n2+ years of experience leading global, multicultural cross-functional teams with complex deliverables and demanding timelines.\n2+ years of experience supporting research, development and regulatory approval through integrated planning and execution.\nAdvanced project and portfolio management tool proficiency, with strong data and digital capabilities.\nStrong stakeholder leadership, communication, critical thinking, risk, scheduling, budgeting and resource-management skills.\nPreferred requirements\nMaster's degree in a relevant scientific or technical discipline.\nProject management certification or qualification, including PMP, APM, PRINCE2 or agile methods.\nClinical and regulatory development experience, particularly later-stage development and pre-launch programs.\nExpertise in regulatory affairs, health authority interactions or patient engagement.\nExperience with Planisware or Qlik Sense for project and portfolio management.\nBiopharma knowledge spanning development, regulatory science, patient engagement and healthcare ecosystems.\nSalary\nThe reasonably anticipated salary range for this position is $125,600 to $164,900 per year.
