It specializes in researching therapeutic solutions for patients suffering from severe diseases, treated by specialists, particularly in the fields of the central nervous system (including epilepsy) and inflammation (including allergies).\nThe Braine-l'Alleud site specializes in chemical synthesis, development, manufacturing, and packaging of pharmaceutical products.\nMore information at: www.ucb.com\nYour mission will include:\nStatistical Analysis and Process Monitoring:\nApply statistical methods to identify trends, signals, and improvement opportunities within quality-related datasets.\nSupport the implementation and interpretation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies, including control charts, process capability analysis, Pareto analysis, trend analysis, survival (time-to-event) analysis, and reliability analysis.\nData Analysis and Visualization:\nPrepare, clean, and analyze structured datasets from quality systems.\nDevelop analytical scripts using R and/or Python.\nCreate clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to business stakeholders.\nSupport the automation of recurring analysis and reporting activities.\nData Science Applied to Quality:\nContribute to projects focused on trend analysis, signal detection, and quality performance indicators.\nExplore advanced analytical techniques such as predictive analytics, text mining, statistical modeling, and data mining.\nHelp establish scientifically sound and reproducible analytical methodologies.\nCertification and Validation:\nPerform certification and validation activities in compliance with UCB policies and requirements.\nProvide support in line with UCB standards for Computer System Validation (CSV), including the certification of required systems.\nCollaboration and Continuous Improvement:\nWork closely with Quality and Digital Technology teams.\nTranslate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.\nSupport digitalization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making.\nYour profile:\nEducation: Master’s degree (or currently in the final year of a Master’s program) in Statistics, Data Science, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.\nLanguages: French proficiency is an asset; English fluency is essential (the direct manager and some team members are English-speaking only).\nRequired technical skills:\nKnowledge of statistical analysis methods and their applications.\nExperience with R and/or Python programming.\nFamiliarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).\nUnderstanding of exploratory data analysis and data preparation techniques.\nBasic SQL knowledge is a plus.\nPreferred knowledge:\nInterest in Statistical Process Control (SPC), process monitoring, reliability engineering, and/or the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated industries.\nPrevious industry experience is not required.\nPlease note that this program is in partnership with Business France, and we follow the prerequisites required by Business France to carry out a VIE assignment.
