This role is responsible for leading designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Workday applications and integrations. This position serves as a technical expert responsible for driving complex integration projects, supporting critical business systems, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of the university's Workday environment.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of Workday applications, integrations, and related technologies.\nServe as the primary technical resource for Workday integrations, collaborating with university ladership, functional teams, vendors, and external partners to support business operations.\nDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Workday, PeopleSoft, banking partners, and third-party applications.\nManage Workday upgrades, environment management activities, and integration projects to ensure system stability and performance.\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application, integration, and data-related issues while implementing long-term solutions.\nDesign and develop data conversion processes, application components, interfaces, reports, and custom software solutions.\nCreate and maintain software integrations and external interfaces using technologies such as Workday Studio, Workday Orchestration, XML, web services, SQR, SQL, Java, and other integration tools.\nLead programming activities including system design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of enterprise applications.\nIndependently plan, organize, and coordinate complex data processing programs and systems, evaluating performance and recommending process improvements.\nConduct technical research, data analysis, and special studies to support strategic initiatives and emerging business requirements.\nManage multiple complex technical projects, including project planning, scheduling, coordination, and oversight of cross-functional teams and technical consultants.\nProvide technical guidance and consultation to university stakeholders, assisting in the resolution of system-related issues and supporting compliance with university policies and standards.\nEvaluate and recommend software enhancements, architecture improvements, and technology solutions to strengthen existing enterprise systems.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing and supporting Workday integrations across HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Student systems.\nStrong proficiency with Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, EIBs, Core Connectors, and web services.\nExperience integrating Workday with ERP, HRIS, financial, banking, and third-party vendor systems.\nAdvanced programming experience with SQL, Java, XML, XSLT, and related technologies.\nExperience with data conversion, migration, and enterprise application integration projects.\nStrong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.\nExperience leading large-scale technical initiatives and mentoring technical team members.\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\nSpecial Instructions to the Applicants:\nPosition requires a valid Class E driver’s license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $89,076 - $115,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.\nAll applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H-1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.\nThis role requires the successful candidate to work on-site at UCF as their primary work location.
