This position plays a key role in supporting the university's Microsoft Azure environment and core infrastructure technologies, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations that support academic, research, and administrative functions across the institution.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide operational support for Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and core Microsoft services, including Active Directory, DNS, MECM, and SCOM.\nRespond to service requests and incidents, troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues, and escalate complex problems as needed.\nPerform routine Azure deployments, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other cloud resources using established standards and best practices.\nMonitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost metrics using tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.\nDevelop, maintain, and execute automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions utilizing PowerShell, Terraform, and related technologies.\nSupport IT service management processes, including request fulfillment, change management, documentation, and operational procedures\nMaintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge base resources to support operational excellence and team collaboration\nAssist with infrastructure security and compliance activities, including access reviews, audit support, and remediation efforts.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure services\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and monitoring tools.\nKnowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, DNS, MECM, and SCOM.\nExperience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as PowerShell and Terraform.\nFoundational knowledge of cloud computing concepts and enterprise infrastructure technologies.\nExperience or coursework related to Windows Server administration, Active Directory, networking, or systems administration.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nFamiliarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and performance monitoring solutions.\nUnderstanding of ITIL principles, change management, and service management practices.\nExposure to cybersecurity, compliance, or infrastructure governance processes.\nExperience creating and maintaining technical documentation.\nMicrosoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or related industry certifications are preferred\nSpecial Instructions to the Applicants:\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.
