This position serves as a hands-on developer and technical subject matter expert responsible for platform development, workflow automation, integrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the university, the successful candidate will leverage ServiceNow's low-code capabilities whenever possible while developing scalable custom solutions to meet complex business needs.\nClassification Title: Application Programmer III\nResponsibilities:\nServiceNow Development\nDesign, develop, configure, test, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, portals, and platform components.\nDevelop solutions using JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.\nBuild and maintain automated workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.\nDevelop custom solutions while promoting platform stability, maintainability, and upgrade readiness.\nIntegrations & Automation\nDesign, develop, and support REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise systems.\nBuild and maintain IntegrationHub solutions, import processes, transform maps, scheduled jobs, and data integrations.\nImplement secure and reliable integration patterns, including authentication, monitoring, error handling, and data validation.\nPlatform Enablement\nServe as a technical subject matter expert for ServiceNow modules including Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), CMDB, CSDM, and Asset Management.\nConfigure and enhance service catalogs, workflows, SLAs, assignment rules, and related platform capabilities.\nTechnical Support & Continuous Improvement\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.\nPerform testing, troubleshooting, code reviews, deployment support, and production issue resolution.\nEvaluate platform releases, upgrades, and health assessments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.\nDevelop reports, dashboards, metrics, and data analyses to support operational decision-making.\nMonitor platform performance, availability, security, and adoption, identifying opportunities for improvement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience developing and supporting solutions on the ServiceNow platform.\nProficiency with JavaScript, REST APIs, web services, and workflow automation.\nExperience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and enterprise system integrations.Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and best practices.\nExperience with CMDB, CSDM, Asset Management, and Strategic Portfolio Management.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or related certifications preferred.\nSpecial Instructions to the Applicants:\nPosition requires a valid Class E driver’s license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $64,518 - $90,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.\nAll applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
