This role supports the university’s Identity Governance and Access Management (IGAM) program by administering, monitoring, and improving identity lifecycle and access management processes for enterprise systems and institutional users This position performs operational and technical work related to identity provisioning, access governance, role-based access control, privileged access processes, compliance activities, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder support. The role works closely with campus partners to help ensure appropriate access to university resources while maintaining security, compliance, and data integrity.\nResponsibilities:\nIdentity Lifecycle Management\nManage identity lifecycle activities for students, faculty, staff, researchers, guests, affiliates, and sponsored accounts.\nPerform account provisioning, de-provisioning, modifications, affiliation updates, and reconciliation activities across institutional systems.\nEnsure identity processes are completed accurately and in accordance with university policies and standards.\nAccess Management & Authorization Support\nReview, process, and support access requests for enterprise applications and services.\nApply established access models, business rules, and authorization procedures to ensure appropriate access based on role and business need.\nAssist users and business units with access-related questions and requests.\nRole-Based Access Control (RBAC)\nMaintain role-based access control structures, entitlement mappings, and access assignment processes.\nSupport updates, testing, and documentation of access models and authorization frameworks.\nPartner with business and technical teams to resolve access-related issues.\nAccess Reviews, Audits & Compliance\nSupport periodic access reviews, audit requests, and compliance assessments.\nCollect and validate access records, identify potential access discrepancies, and track remediation efforts.\nMaintain documentation and evidence required for compliance and audit activities.\nPrivileged Access Governance\nSupport governance processes for privileged accounts, administrative access, service accounts, application registrations, and other high-risk identities.\nMaintain inventories, assist with reviews, and support exception tracking activities.\nHelp ensure privileged access processes remain documented, controlled, and auditable.\nStakeholder Support & Collaboration\nProvide support to university stakeholders, application owners, distributed IT teams, and information security partners.\nTroubleshoot identity and access issues within the scope of the role and escalate complex governance or risk-related matters as appropriate.\nServe as backup support for other Identity Governance and Access Management team functions.\nDocumentation & Process Improvement\nDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and knowledge base articles.\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and enhance the user experience.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the Identity Governance and Access Management program.\nReporting & Data Analysis\nPrepare and maintain identity and access management reports using approved tools and data sources.\nPerform data quality reviews, reconciliation activities, and access trend analysis.\nProtect sensitive identity, access, and security information while supporting management reporting needs.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) or Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.\nKnowledge of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, and de-provisioning processes.\nExperience supporting role-based access control (RBAC) and access governance practices.\nFamiliarity with privileged access management concepts and controls.\nExperience supporting audits, compliance reviews, and access certifications.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working in higher education or other complex enterprise environments.\nSpecial Instructions to the Applicants:\nPosition requires a valid Class E driver’s license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $64,518 - $80,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.\nAll applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H-1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.\nThis role requires the successful candidate to work on-site at UCF as their primary work location.
