This position provides operational leadership and technical oversight for the development, delivery, and support of secure, scalable, and governed AI services that support academic, research, and administrative functions across the university. This position will oversee AI platform operations, enterprise AI development, automation initiatives, and integration services while collaborating with university stakeholders to advance responsible AI adoption and improve operational efficiency.\nClassification Title: Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage the AI Platforms and Integrations team, providing strategic direction, workload prioritization, coaching, performance management, and professional development for technical staff.\nEstablish and maintain team operating procedures, intake processes, documentation standards, service delivery expectations, and support models.\nOversee the operation, monitoring, security, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise AI platform services, including AI gateways, approved model access, model routing, and local GPU-enabled services.\nLead the development of enterprise AI assistants, agents, automations, and reusable AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable institutional value.\nDirect projects from solution design and prototyping through testing, deployment, and operational support while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, accessibility, and responsible AI standards.\nManage the development and support of enterprise integrations, APIs, connectors, and data-access services that connect AI platforms with enterprise systems and data sources.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, data governance, identity management, and application teams to ensure services are secure, compliant, scalable, and supportable.\nMonitor service performance, customer feedback, operational metrics, risks, and incidents to drive continuous improvement and service excellence.\nContribute to institutional AI governance, standards development, roadmaps, and strategic technology initiatives.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience managing or supporting enterprise technology services, software development, integrations, cloud platforms, AI solutions, or automation initiatives.\nExperience leading projects, teams, or operational technology services in a complex environment.\nKnowledge of application integrations, APIs, enterprise platforms, and IT service delivery practices.\nStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technology solutions.\nExperience leading teams responsible for artificial intelligence, automation, enterprise software development, cloud platforms, or integrations.\nKnowledge of generative AI technologies, AI platforms, large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and enterprise AI governance practices.\nExperience developing and supporting APIs, integrations, connectors, and data-access services across enterprise environments.\nExperience with cloud platforms, AI infrastructure, GPU-enabled computing, or enterprise platform operations.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity, identity and access management, data governance, privacy, accessibility, and responsible AI principles.\nExperience implementing service monitoring, operational metrics, incident management, and continuous improvement practices.\nExperience managing cross-functional technology initiatives and collaborating with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and application teams.\nExperience working within higher education, research, healthcare, or other large and complex organizations.\nIndustry certifications related to cloud computing, AI, project management, or technology leadership are preferred.\nSpecial Instructions to the Applicants:\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000-$127,119.
