This position is responsible for managing a team of technical professionals supporting critical platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Informatica, Power Platform, Copilot, Gemini, SQL Server, and MariaDB. This position will oversee platform reliability, service operations, governance, security compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring enterprise data platforms remain secure, available, scalable, and aligned with institutional needs.\nClassification Title: Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure\nResponsibilities:\nLead and supervise the Data Platforms team, including work assignments, workload management, onboarding, performance evaluations, professional development, and cross-training initiatives.\nManage the day-to-day operations of enterprise data, integration, automation, and AI platforms, ensuring reliable and effective service delivery.\nOversee platform availability, performance, capacity planning, monitoring, backup and recovery processes, patching, upgrades, and operational readiness activities.\nManage service requests, incidents, and operational workflows through ServiceNow while maintaining service levels and customer satisfaction.\nServe as the operational liaison between technical teams, university stakeholders, and IT partners to support platform-related initiatives and priorities.\nEnsure adherence to change management practices, testing standards, security controls, access management requirements, and data governance policies.\nSupport the administration and operational delivery of enterprise AI and automation platforms, promoting automation-first practices and continuous improvement.\nDevelop and provide operational reports, service metrics, and platform performance dashboards to leadership.\nServe as a management escalation point for service-impacting issues and assist in resolving operational challenges.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience leading enterprise data platforms, analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering teams in a large and complex organization.\nDemonstrated expertise with modern cloud data technologies, including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, data warehouses, and data lakes.\nExperience establishing and advancing data governance, data quality, metadata management, and institutional data stewardship practices.\nProven ability to develop and execute data platform strategy, roadmaps, and service delivery models aligned with business and organizational objectives.\nExperience leading cross-functional initiatives involving data integration, analytics, reporting, automation, and enterprise applications while managing staff, budgets, vendors, and enterprise-scale projects.\nSpecial Instructions to the Applicants:\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $104,664 to $120,000.
