# Post Doctoral Scholar

The Opportunity The Singla Lab at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando seeks a highly motivated, creative, and ambitious postdoctoral fellow to study treatment resistance and tumor-microenvironment interactions in various cancer models and associated toxicological studies. This part of the project focuses on developing cancer models; therefore, we are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who will conduct innovative cancer research using functional studies with 3D culture models and organoids. Identify the underlying mechanisms using cell biology and molecular biology techniques. They will also be expected to perform research, write manuscripts, assist in grant proposals, and present their findings at local and national meetings. The fellow should work independently, lead project(s), troubleshoot issues, present their work, and train other lab members as part of their postdoctoral training. Prof. Singla’s lab is a friendly and welcoming place with great excitement for cancer and cardiovascular research. Minimum Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in cancer biology/immunology/molecular biology with a strong background in cancer cell culture
