pipelines on GCP that scale to enterprise demand\n\nImplement and maintain low-latency Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines feeding the enterprise data warehouse\n\nBuild and run automated CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, and production\n\nKeep code quality and system stability high by following data engineering standards, security protocols, and operational best practices\n\nPractice cloud cost efficiency — right-sizing environments, removing idle infrastructure, and enforcing tagging standards\n\nMaintain clear documentation: architecture, release notes, runbooks, and solution designs\n\nUse AI-assisted development tools to cut manual toil and sharpen engineering processes\n\nCollaborate in a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team delivering data initiatives iteratively\n\nRequirements: \n\nA degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent qualification\n\n1–2 years building enterprise-grade data processing applications\n\nSound knowledge of data engineering practices and processes\n\nSolid programming skills in Python, SQL, and Shell/Bash\n\nHands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases\n\nExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines using an ingestion platform such as Fivetran, plus orchestration tools\n\nHands-on experience with low-latency CDC pipelines from source relational databases into a data warehouse\n\nHands-on GCP experience — BigQuery, Datastream, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer\n\nExperience with data ingestion from ERP systems such as AS400, SAP, or Dynamics 365\n\nDevOps and CI/CD experience with GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\n\nTerraform, data quality frameworks, Datadog, Lambda/Kappa patterns, or Medallion
