Serve as data custodian for the ADP (payroll system) and the Matrixcare payroll (telephonic time and attendance system).\nVerify changes made by supervisors to employee pay rates, and other changes in the payroll systems.\nEnsure the integrity and accuracy of the data in the ADP and Matrixcare systems.\nMaintain standard written payroll policies and procedures and recommend changes as needed. \nMaintain the allocation/distribution codes, updating as needed. \nManage all information in accordance with Agency confidentiality policies, using personal judgment in handling a variety of sensitive information. \nMaintain confidentiality in all areas with respect to individual, employee, and other sensitive information.\nAssist the Chief Financial Officer and the Controller in the preparation of the operating budget, County budgets, grant budgets, and other reports as requested. \nProvide assistance as needed to employees regarding their payroll questions and concerns. \nPrepare and post weekly payroll journal entries.\nMinimum requirements:\nBachelor’s degree within a related discipline expected and 2 to 5 years of learning experience \nOr a Master’s degree within a related discipline and 2 years of learning experience \nFive years of previous payroll administration experience\nA valid driver’s license\nAccess to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection\nAbility to communicate, read, write, and interpret English\nIf you are still reading, we should talk!
