From breaking campus news to exploring issues impacting students, you'll help keep the UC community informed, engaged and connected.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nFind the stories that matter - Keep your finger on the pulse of campus life, current affairs and issues impacting UC students.\n\nBring news to life - Research, write and produce engaging, accurate and relevant news content for Canta's print and digital platforms.\n\nWork with the other Editors- Collaborate with the Print Editor and Digital Editor to develop and deliver newsworthy content.\n\nGet the facts right - Ensure news content is well-researched, factual and meets Canta's editorial standards and processes.\n\nIs This You?\nYou're a current University of Canterbury student with a passion for journalism, storytelling and keeping students informed about what's happening in their world.\nYou might be studying journalism, communications, media or a related field, or you might already have experience writing, editing or producing content.\nWe're looking for someone who brings:\nA genuine interest in news, current affairs and issues affecting students.\n\nStrong writing, editing and research skills, with an eye for detail.\n\nExperience creating written or digital content.\n\nCuriosity, initiative and the confidence to ask questions and explore different perspectives.\n\nGreat communication and organisational
