We are continuing to grow as we build a more disciplined, globally connected operating system to support our customers and our next stage of growth.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to build and lead the warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory-control structure for our Elmsford operation. This is not a pure shipping role. The person we hire will develop the standards, layout, procedures, controls, and daily operating rhythm that make inventory accurate, shipments reliable, and warehouse work repeatable.\nThis role will lead the warehouse employees who perform the physical picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and material movement work. The Manager owns the system: priorities, process discipline, inventory accuracy, shipment execution, issue resolution, training, safety, and continuous improvement. The role partners closely with Supply Chain to execute inventory allocation, transfers, and shipment priorities across UE’s broader global operations, while remaining directly accountable for the Elmsford warehouse.\nOur People\nThey Own Their Day: We do not micro-manage. We rely on each other, bring different strengths to the table, and build better systems together.\nThey Always Look Through a Customer Lens: Every process we build should make it easier to serve the customer accurately, reliably, and on time.\nYour Impact\nLead the warehouse team responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put-away, cycle counts, inventory movements, and warehouse organization.\nManage daily order priorities, carrier coordination, shipment deadlines, customer-specific requirements, and shipping exceptions, including international documents and commercial-invoice accuracy.\nOwn Elmsford inventory accuracy by ensuring receipts, picks, transfers, shipments, adjustments, and cycle counts are completed correctly in the ERP and related systems.\nHire, train, and mentor warehouse staff and supervisors to drive productivity.\nMaintain a clean, safe, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment, including proper material handling, equipment use, packing supplies, records, and security controls.\nDevelop the Elmsford warehouse and shipping structure, including layout, bin/location control, receiving flow, pick/pack/ship standards, staging, documentation, and daily operating routines.\nCreate and maintain practical SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and training so warehouse work is repeatable, scalable, and not dependent on tribal knowledge.\nPartner with Supply Chain, Quality, Repair, Finance, and Business Systems to resolve inventory discrepancies, receiving issues, shipment holds, system errors, and process gaps.\nEstablish performance visibility for the warehouse, including inventory accuracy, cycle-count completion, on-time shipment execution, shipping errors, receiving backlog, and open exceptions.\nYour Experience\n5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, distribution, manufacturing, or technical product fulfillment.\n3+ years of experience leading or supervising warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or material-handling employees.\nComfortable working on-site and being hands-on in a small but dynamic warehouse environment, while leading the team and owning the systems, processes, and daily operations.\nStrong experience with inventory accuracy, cycle counting, bin/location control, ERP/WMS transactions, receiving discipline, order fulfillment, and shipment execution.\nHands-on experience with ERP/WMS or inventory systems and shipping platforms such as ShipStation, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or similar systems.\nExperience with domestic and international shipping, carrier systems, customs/commercial documentation, and shipment exception management.\nProven experience developing warehouse and shipping structure from an immature, manual, or scaling environment, including procedures, layout, controls, training, and operating cadence.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train employees, document processes, escalate issues, and work cross-functionally.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.\nRelevant certification is preferred, such as ASCM/APICS CLTD, CPIM, or CSCP; Lean Six Sigma; forklift/powered industrial truck training; OSHA safety training; or dangerous-goods/lithium-battery shipping training where applicable.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Acumatica, ShipStation, or ERP-integrated shipping and inventory workflows.\nExperience in electronics, instrumentation, industrial equipment, repair/service operations, or serialized technical products.\nExperience creating warehouse KPIs, dashboards, training materials, SOPs, or audit-ready documentation.\nExperience coordinating inventory transfers between facilities or supporting international shipments and returns.\nWhy Join Us?\nWe have the typical benefits you would expect, like dental, vision, and health insurance, paid time off, and retirement contributions, but your main interest should be to join a family as we are in the process of radically transforming our business in a way that will redefine our company and our place in the market, making this one of the most exciting times in UE Systems history.
