This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, supporting store and yard operations, and contributing to sales growth while maintaining UFA's safety and operational standards.\nShift Schedules\nMorning Shift\nMonday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with requirement to work alternating weekends from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM\nLate Shift\nMonday to Friday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with requirement to work alternating weekends from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM\nThe successful candidate may be placed on any shift based on operational requirements, qualifications, and personal preference.\nSuccessful candidates may be scheduled on various shifts based on operational requirements, qualifications, and availability.\nThis position is located in Hanna, Alberta at UFA’s Farm Store.\nCore Responsibilities:\nDeliver outstanding customer service and product support in person, by phone, and through digital channels.\nBuild and maintain customer relationships through proactive customer engagement and CRM activities.\nIdentify customer needs and recommend products, services, and solutions.\nGenerate sales opportunities and either execute sales transactions or transfer opportunities to the appropriate sales representative.\nSupport achievement of store sales, margin, and customer service objectives.\nPrepare customer quotations, invoices, billings, and process payments accurately.\nQualifications:\nA High School Diploma or GED is required.\nA minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, agriculture, building materials, grain handling, or a related industry.\nDemonstrated success in relationship-based sales and customer account management.\nStrong customer service and relationship-building skills.\nExperience with cash handling, POS systems, and general computer applications.\nIntermediate product knowledge relevant to assigned business line.\nDemonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nForklift, warehouse, yard, or inventory experience is considered an asset.\nAdditional Requirements\nAbility to safely lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).\nAbility to work both indoors and outdoors in a retail, warehouse, and yard environment.\nFlexibility to work various shifts and support multiple store functions.\nMust maintain all required certifications and training, including WHMIS and other company-required programs.\nYou and UFA.
