Your ability to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and build strong internal partnerships will directly contribute to operational success and customer satisfaction.\nAs BarW continues to grow across Western Canada, we are looking for a Procurement & Inventory Coordinator who wants to make a measurable impact on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain performance. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple business units, influence key business decisions, and build a long-term career with a respected industry leader.\nThis position is located in Red Deer, Alberta.\nResponsibilities:\nCreate, manage, and maintain purchase orders while ensuring timely and accurate processing.\nResolve vendor invoicing discrepancies and support efficient procurement workflows.\nCoordinate time-sensitive purchase order requirements between suppliers, operations teams, and business units.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet procurement needs while identifying cost-saving opportunities and supplier optimization strategies.\nMaintain supplier pricing, freight costs, brokerage charges, and product master data.\nAnalyze inventory performance across the network and provide actionable recommendations to improve inventory accuracy and availability.\nSupport cycle count programs, inventory verification activities, and annual wall-to-wall inventory counts.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.\nAssist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of inventory management procedures, governance, and best practices.\nProvide inventory management support, coaching, and cross-functional training to help business units improve compliance and operational performance.\nMonitor inventory management processes, identify areas of non-compliance, and escalate concerns when appropriate.\nCross-train within procurement and inventory management functions to support business continuity.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nEquivalent combinations of education and related experience will be considered.\nA minimum of 2 years of procurement, inventory or supply chain experience.\nA minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, or a related field.\nSCMP, CIPS, or other purchasing/procurement certification is considered an asset.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, or similar ERP and inventory management platforms is considered an asset.\nExperience supporting multi-site inventory operations.\nKnowledge of petroleum, industrial, agricultural, construction, or service-based operations is considered an asset.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business units.\nExperience interpreting inventory data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements.\nProven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nThis is a safety-sensitive position.
