This role combines professional driving, customer service, equipment operation, and operational support to ensure an exceptional customer experience.\nYou will serve as an ambassador for UFA, demonstrating our commitment to safety, service excellence, and helping rural communities grow.\nThis position is based in Dunmore, Alberta and supports customers throughout the assigned trading area.\nResponsibilities:\nSafely transport and deliver products to members and customers throughout Dunmore and the surrounding areas.\nProvide exceptional customer service and foster positive relationships with members and customers.\nLoad, unload, secure, and transport products in accordance with transportation regulations and safe work practices.\nComplete pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections.\nMaintain accurate driver logs, inspection records, and transportation documentation.\nComply with all applicable Transportation, Environmental, OH&S, and UFA Fleet policies and procedures.\nOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.\nSupport shipping, receiving, inventory control, and yard operations when not performing deliveries.\nAssist with general facility maintenance, including seasonal duties such as snow removal and site upkeep.\nParticipate in an after-hours on-call rotation as required.\nPerform basic equipment inspections and troubleshoot minor operational issues.\nPromote a safety-first culture while delivering outstanding service and support to customers and coworkers.\nQualifications:\nValid Class 1 Driver's Licence is required. \nClean and acceptable driver's abstract.\nExperience operating forklifts and material handling equipment is considered an asset.\nMechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment inspections and troubleshooting.\nExperience navigating rural routes using both digital and traditional mapping tools.\nAbility to safely perform physical work, including lifting and moving products weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs).\nStrong commitment to safety, compliance, and safe work practices.\nBasic computer literacy and technology skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing positively within a team environment.\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.\nExperience within agricultural, petroleum, transportation, commercial delivery, or related industries is preferred.\nKnowledge of farming, ranching, petroleum products, and rural communities is considered a strong asset.\nRegular lifting, loading, and unloading of products.\nIndoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.\nDriving on rural roads and highways throughout the assigned trading area.\nParticipation in an on-call rotation as required.\nThis is a safety sensitive position as will be on site at UFA facilities and will be using UFA material handling equipment. The successful applicant will be required to pass (achieve a negative result) a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.\nYou and UFA.
