Opportunities are available on day, mid, or night shift, depending on business requirements, candidate qualifications, and individual preferences.\nReporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is the frontline leader responsible for executing daily warehouse operations through direct leadership of Senior Shipper/Receivers and Shipper/Receivers. This role translates operational priorities into real-time decisions, directing workflow and resources to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of product throughout the distribution centre.\nThe Warehouse Supervisor maintains an active presence on the warehouse floor, providing direct leadership, coaching, and operational direction while driving performance in safety, service, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. This position plays a critical role in achieving operational excellence and supporting UFA's commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.\nShift Schedules\nDay Shift\nMonday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM OR\nMonday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM\nMid Shift\nMonday to Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM\nNight Shift\nSunday to Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM\nThe successful candidate may be placed on any shift based on operational requirements, qualifications, and personal preference.\nResponsibilities:\nLead daily warehouse operations across receiving, picking, shipping, inventory movement, yard activities, and AWSA functions.\nDirect, assign, and coordinate work activities for Senior Shipper/Receivers and Shipper/Receivers to ensure operational priorities are achieved.\nOwn shift-level performance and ensure safety, service, productivity, quality, and operational targets are consistently met.\nMake real-time operational decisions by adjusting labour, sequencing work, and reallocating resources to support customer and business requirements.\nMaintain control of warehouse floor activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures and standard work.\nReinforce a strong safety culture through active supervision, hazard identification, compliance monitoring, and immediate intervention when required.\nMonitor operational performance through KPIs, operational metrics, and workflow observations.\nCoach, mentor, and develop team members while providing ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance management.\nCollaborate with Inventory Control, Transportation, Planning, and Operational Support teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall performance.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, workforce planning, employee engagement, and operational readiness within the distribution centre.\nQualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.\nA minimum of 5 years of warehouse, distribution centre, logistics, manufacturing, or related operational experience, including frontline leadership responsibilities.\nProven experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, shift-based, safety-sensitive environment, with the ability to direct workflow, manage performance, coach employees, and build a culture of accountability and engagement.\nStrong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, inventory control, order picking, shipping, material handling, yard operations, and workflow optimization.\nDemonstrated success supporting continuous improvement initiatives, operational change management, and business process enhancements.\nWorking knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably SAP EWM/WM, with the ability to leverage operational data, KPIs, and productivity metrics to drive performance and decision-making.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capability to assess priorities and respond effectively in a dynamic operational environment.\nExcellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining service and operational standards.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse operational technologies.\nCertified and capable of safely operating material handling equipment, or the ability to obtain required certifications.\nAbility to work effectively in warehouse, yard, and safety-sensitive environments and successfully meet all pre-employment requirements.\nFlexibility to work assigned shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and peak operational periods, as business needs require.\nYou and UFA.
