data processing.\nImplement device communication protocols, packet parsing, decoding, and acknowledgment mechanisms.\nWrite clean, reusable, maintainable, and thread-safe code.\nDebug existing code and resolve functional and performance-related issues.\n Multithreading and Concurrency\nDevelop multithreaded applications for handling concurrent device connections and data processing.\nWork with threads, ExecutorService, thread pools, synchronization, and concurrent collections.\nIdentify and resolve race conditions, deadlocks, resource leaks, and thread-safety issues.\nEnsure safe server reinitialization and configuration updates without data loss or service interruption.\n TCP/IP, MQTT, and Kafka\nWork with TCP/IP sockets and network communication for GPS devices.\nDevelop and maintain MQTT-based communication and message-processing services.\nWork with Apache Kafka for asynchronous data processing, topics, partitions, and consumers.\nTroubleshoot connection failures, message-processing delays, consumer lag, and acknowledgment issues.\nImplement appropriate error handling, retry mechanisms, and resource cleanup to improve reliability.\n Production Support and Performance Optimization\nInvestigate and resolve production issues related to high CPU and memory usage, socket connections, and file descriptor exhaustion.\nAnalyze Java thread dumps, heap dumps, application logs, and JVM metrics.\nTroubleshoot CLOSE_WAIT connections, connection leaks, and application hangs.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.\nSupport application monitoring, performance tuning, and server stability improvements.\n Database Development\nDevelop and optimize MySQL queries, joins, indexes, and database transactions.\nTroubleshoot slow queries using EXPLAIN and execution plans.\nWork with JDBC and connection pools such as HikariCP.\nOptimize database interactions for high-volume GPS data processing.\n Code Quality and Team Collaboration\nFollow coding standards, object-oriented design principles, and software development best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities.\nCollaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.\nDocument technical changes, defects, and root cause analysis findings.\n\nRequired Technical Skills\n\n2–4 years of hands-on experience in Java development.\nStrong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, collections, exception handling, and JVM fundamentals.\nPractical understanding of multithreading, synchronization, and concurrent programming.\nKnowledge of TCP/IP, socket programming, and client-server communication.\nWorking knowledge of MQTT and Apache Kafka.\nExperience with MySQL, SQL queries, indexing, and query optimization.\nFamiliarity with Linux commands, logs, process monitoring, and network troubleshooting.\nExperience with Maven or Gradle and Git.\nGood debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood to Have\n\nExperience in GPS tracking, telematics, IoT, or real-time data-processing systems.\nFamiliarity with Netty, Spring Boot, REST APIs, or RabbitMQ.\nUnderstanding of Docker, monitoring tools, and automated service recovery.\nExperience troubleshooting production issues in distributed applications.\n\nEducational
