Its product lines include the MAGURA family of uncrewed surface vessels, the NEMESIS family of strike platforms, the LIUT family of ground robotic platforms, and counter-UAS systems.\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a People Operations Specialist to help keep day-to-day People operations reliable, responsive and well organised as UFORCE grows.\nYou'll support employees across the employee lifecycle by answering everyday questions, coordinating onboarding, handling employment verifications and background checks, and keeping employee records and documentation accurate and up to date.\nYou won't be expected to know every process on day one. Working with the People Operations Lead, you'll learn our systems and workflows, take ownership of agreed routine tasks and know when to ask for guidance. Alongside daily operations, you'll contribute to projects that improve the employee experience and make our processes work better.\nThis is an early-career role for someone with 2-3 years of HR or Talent experience who is proactive, detail-oriented and ready to build broader People Operations expertise. The role is fully remote, based in Ukraine or the EU. You'll report to the People Operations Lead.\nWhat you'll do\nBe a day-to-day point of contact for employee People-related questions - providing clear, helpful responses, tracking requests and escalating unfamiliar or sensitive matters.\n\nCoordinate onboarding with Talent, hiring managers, IT and other partners, keeping checklists and handoffs on track so new hires are ready for day one.\n\nHandle employment verification requests using established procedures, with careful attention to accuracy and confidentiality.\n\nCoordinate background checks, administer the provider's platform and follow up on outstanding cases, escalating findings to authorised decision-makers.\n\nMaintain employee records in our HR systems, checking data, updating information and keeping documentation organised.\n\nPrepare and maintain routine employee documentation under the People Operations Lead's guidance.\n\nKeep trackers and process guides current, follow up on open tasks and flag delays or gaps before they become bigger issues.\n\nContribute to employee-lifecycle projects by helping improve workflows, refreshing documentation, and delivering agreed project tasks.\n\nWork closely with the People and Talent teams and cross-functional partners to keep everyday operations moving.\n\nRequired Skills\n2-3 years of experience in HR and/or Talent, with hands-on involvement in coordination, employee or candidate support, and administrative processes.\n\nStrong organisation and attention to detail: you can manage competing tasks, maintain clear trackers and check records and documents carefully.\n\nA proactive approach to work: anticipate next steps, follow up without repeated reminders and flag issues early.\n\nClear, empathetic communication and a service mindset: keep people informed and handle questions thoughtfully.\n\nA willingness to learn unfamiliar systems and processes, ask thoughtful questions and apply feedback.\n\nGood judgment around confidential information and knowing when to involve your manager rather than guess.\n\nConfidence using spreadsheets and digital tools, with the ability to learn HR systems.\n\nNice to have\nExperience in a startup or fast-growing company.\n\nExposure to onboarding coordination, HRIS/ATS administration, employment verifications or background-check platforms.\n\nExperience supporting distributed or
