The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and efficiency. As a Production Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process, contributing to the production of our top-tier products.\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities\nCompletes work area setup.\nPerform assembly operations in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.\nUtilize hand and power tools to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.\nStacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished product.\nEnsures work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.\nCompletes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.\nMaintains production records as required.\nInspect finished products for defects or irregularities and make necessary adjustments to be compliant with standards.\nCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.\nPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.\nParticipates in safety, CI, and other training programs and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma/GED preferred but not required.\nProven experience in assembly or a related field preferred.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.\nWorking knowledge of basic math\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nBenefits\nProduction bonuses based on individual performance and hard work.\nCompetitive compensation package, with opportunity to make $18+ per hour.\nComprehensive benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans.\nOpportunities for career advancement and professional development\nYearly profit-sharing bonuses\nPositive and collaborative work environment Join our team at UFP Auburndale and be part of a company that values and rewards your hard work and dedication.
