Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation including plates, nails, staples, fasteners, etc.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities\nCompletes work area setup\nFits parts together in accordance with the prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standards\nOperates presses and machinery in addition to hand tools as required to complete the assembly process\nStacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label and band components/finished product\nEnsures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.\nCompletes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns\nMaintains a clean and orderly work environment\nProvides basic TPM to equipment and completes TPM paperwork when required\nMaintains production records as required\nChecks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards\nPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards\nParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma/GED preferred but not required\nA minimum of 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products is required; 1 year of experience or more is preferred\nWorking knowledge of basic math preferred\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nClick here to watch what a day in the life of an Assembler looks like.\nCompensation & Benefit Information:\nHourly/Salary Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 an hour dependent on experience*\n*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living\nBonus/Incentive Pay:\nIncentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.
