The setups of fixtures, jigs, spoil boards, and tooling to perform the machining operations. This includes making complex cuts using the specified tooling and materials as directed by management and the applications programmer. Cuts, shapes, and does boring, counter boring, counter sinking operations in lumber and other nonferrous materials to job specifications.\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities\nPrepares spoil boards for use and manages the process to determine when they are to be changed and replaced.\nTouches off tools and enters registration in the CNC control to machine the programs to meet customer specifications, in a safe condition and prevents property damage.\nChanges tools and properly collects tooling for safety to protect employee and company assets.\nUtilizes tools touch probes, calibration programs, and height gages to set machine tools for tool changes and cutting processes\nStorages programming files and is responsible for file management.\nChecks processed lumber to ensure operation is producing to required job specifications.\nSecures and maintains material and supplies required on the operation according to production sheets.\nEnsures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.\nCompletes pre shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.\nMaintains a clean and orderly work environment.\nMaintains production records as required.\nPerforms duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.\nPerforms minor preventive maintenance as specified.\nParticipates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nMinimum high school diploma.\nMinimum of 1 year of CNC machine tool experience focus on FANUC controlled driven CNC machine is preferred.\nWorking knowledge of mathematical functions.\nWorking knowledge of Cartesian coordinate graphic systems.\nMust be able to understand and interpret the various Machine Code for FANUC controlled based CNC machines.\nWorking knowledge of computer equipment.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\n\"This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days, or we will continue to accept applications until a qualified candidate has been selected.\"\nCompensation & Benefit Information:\nHourly Pay Range: $24+ per hour dependent on experience*\n*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living\nBonus/Incentive Pay:\nIncentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.
