Maintains correct paperwork and shipping and receiving records are required. Works under immediate supervision and relies on specific directions and instructions.\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities\nLoads and unloads trucks and rail cars\nMoves material and other products from storage to work areas and vice versa as required.\nBreaks packs to correct size and labels material before loading product on a truck or rail car\nProvides general preventive maintenance on equipment.\nCompletes preshiftstartup equipment checklist and reports any problems or concerns.\nMaintains yard and ensures it is organized and clean.\nCompletes paperwork as required.\nEmpty trash and wood hoppers.\nFollows forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy.\nParticipates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.\nPerforms other duties as required.\nQualifications\nMinimum 9th-grade basic education High school diploma GED preferred but not required\nPrefers 6 months to 1 year of experience driving a forklift or operating similar equipment.\nWorking knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred\nSuccessfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nClick here to watch what a day in the life of a Forklift Operator looks like.\nCompensation & Benefit Information:\nHourly/Salary Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 an hour dependent on experience*\n*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living\nBonus/Incentive Pay:\nIncentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses.
