This role handles Tier 1 and Tier 2 network issues, supports network expansions and hardware refreshes, manages circuits, and collaborates with engineers to maintain a reliable and secure network environment. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with enterprise networking technologies, and the ability to work independently while partnering effectively with the Network Engineering team. Travel is required at least once every six weeks.\nLOCATION: This job requires working on-site 5 days a week out of our Grand Rapids, MI office.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nReceive, triage, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 network incidents, escalating to engineers as required.\n\nRespond to network service requests, fulfilling standard configuration requests or routing non-standard items to engineering.\n\nUse ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO) daily to manage, track, and document incidents, requests, and project tasks.\n\nPerform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, including packet captures and the use of standard network analysis tools.\n\nSupport end users with connectivity issues, ensuring high-quality customer service and timely resolution.\n\nParticipate in and complete medium-sized network projects, including standardization efforts, network expansion, site buildouts, and hardware refresh activities.\n\nInstall, configure, and maintain Cisco Catalyst switches, Meraki access points, and Versa SD-WAN appliances.\n\nManage WAN and Internet circuits: ordering, tracking, coordinating installation, validating activation, and decommissioning retired circuits.\n\nCollaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to support network upgrades, integrations, and change activities.\n\nApply working knowledge of TACACS, RADIUS, MAB, and Cisco ISE to support authentication and access control across the network.\n\nAssist with administration and troubleshooting of DNS, IPAM, SNMP, OSPF, BGP, and static routing.\n\nMaintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configuration standards, asset records, and procedures.\n\nEnsure all assigned incidents, requests, and project tasks are completed on time and in alignment with defined SLAs.\n\nTravel to sites at least once every six weeks to support installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and project execution.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies as required.\n\nExperience:\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field-or equivalent experience.\n\n3-6 years of experience in networking or IT infrastructure support.\n\nStrong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and routing fundamentals.\n\nHands-on familiarity with switches, APs, SD-WAN, and monitoring tools.\n\nExperience working with Cisco, Meraki, and Versa platforms.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nFamiliarity with enterprise authentication technologies (TACACS, RADIUS, MAB, ISE).\n\nExcellent communication, customer service, and prioritization skills.\n\nAbility to travel and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.\n\nThe Company is
