Provides hands-on instruction, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure employees develop the skills and knowledge necessary to operate equipment safely, maintain quality standards, and consistently produce products that meet customer expectations.\nPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities\n-Trains machine operators to secure and maintain the materials and supplies required for production according to work orders and production schedules.\n-Instructs operators on proper work area setup and preparation before beginning production activities.\n-Teaches safe and efficient machine operation and feeding techniques in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.\n-Coaches operators on continuously monitoring equipment performance and product quality during operation.\n-Trains employees on proper handling, stacking, labeling, banding, and protection of finished products according to company standards.\n-Instructs operators on the safe and proper use of hand tools required to complete production processes.\n-Reinforces the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and ensuring equipment remains in safe operating condition.\n-Guides employees through pre-shift equipment inspections and the proper reporting of maintenance, safety, or operational concerns.\n-Ensures operators understand and follow housekeeping expectations throughout their shift.\n-Trains employees on accurately completing production records and required documentation.\n-Teaches quality inspection procedures to verify materials and finished products meet established specifications and standards.\n-Reinforces compliance with all safety policies, quality standards, operating procedures, and company regulations.\n-Instructs operators on routine preventive maintenance tasks as required.\n-Encourages participation in safety programs, continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, and team meetings.\n-Provides ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and skills development to ensure employees can perform assigned duties safely, independently, and efficiently.\n-Performs other training and development responsibilities as assigned.\nTrainer Evaluation Focus: Assess the employee's ability to perform each task safely, independently, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and production standards.\nQualifications\nMinimum high school diploma\nMinimum of 1 year of experience working with heavy manufacturing and/or assembly equipment\nWorking knowledge of mathematical functions.\nBasic understanding on computer equipment\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nHourly Pay Range:\n$25.00-$30.00 hourly- dependent on experience*\n*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living\nBonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses.\nA discretionary annual bonus
