This position ensures our campus environment reflects excellence at every level-clean, well-maintained, and ready to support students, staff, and guests.\nFrom maintaining lawns and gardens to preparing outdoor spaces for daily operations and events, this role directly impacts the experience and environment our students train in.\nKey Responsibilities\nDaily Execution\nMaintain lawns and green spaces (mowing, edging, weed control, fertilization)\n\nCare for landscaping (planting, pruning, mulching, soil conditioning)\n\nPrepare outdoor areas for changing weather (securing furniture, covering equipment, etc.)\n\nOperate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely\n\nWeekly & Scheduled Responsibilities\nPerform site clean-up (leaves, debris, walkways)\n\nMonitor and maintain irrigation systems; perform basic repairs\n\nSupport minor hardscape work (pathways, pavers, outdoor areas)\n\nCoordinate or assist with specialized services (grading, installations)\n\nSeasonal Responsibilities\nSpring and fall campus clean-ups\n\nWeather-related preparation and response\n\nSnow removal and salting (as needed)\n\nSafety & Standards\nFollow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines\n\nMaintain equipment in safe working condition\n\nUphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation across campus\n\nQualifications & Experience\nCore Attributes\nExperience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or similar outdoor maintenance role preferred\n\nFamiliarity with landscaping equipment and basic irrigation systems\n\nTakes pride in maintaining high standards\n\nComfortable working outdoors in a dynamic environments\n\nFlexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends\n\nReliable transportation\n\nValid driver’s license preferred\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly\n\nCapable of extended standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching\n\nAble to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)\n\nComfortable operating landscaping equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.)\n\nSchedule & Work Environment\nSchedule: Typically Monday-Friday; flexibility is required based on campus operational needs, including varying shifts, occasional weekends, and support needs across our 800+ acre campus environment.\n\nWork Environment: Fully onsite at our campus located at 25200 Ranch Road, Gentry, AR 72734 in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environmentSchedule: Full-time onsite role in Gentry, Arkansas\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nPay range: $18 per hour\n\n401(k)\n\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n\nPaid time off\n\nProfessional development support\n\nAccess to UHP performance and recovery facilities\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nUHP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
